Although I was sad to see the end of Beaver Tails in Sauble I was excited to try out the fish and chips and they did not disappoint! The employee was very friendly and cheerful and the presentation of the fish and chips with the box and newspaper was really well done. I ordered a 2 piece with chips and the portion of fries was extremely generous. The fries are so tasty and well salted and the fish is crispy and has a great flavour as well. A generous amount of tartar sauce was also included with the order. Can’t wait to visit again next summer!

My daughter and I ate at the royal fish and chips this evening August 21/25 and the counter clerk/ cook ,Alissa and the cook/end product server Emily were both very professional, polite, and had a great attitude. Delicious pieces of fish. Coleslaw was also great. Right in the middle of things so just walk up to the spot, grab your fish and enjoy

The best fish and chips I’ve had in a while. It’s right next to the Sauternes Beach. The fish was delicious … crispy on the outside, flaky and tender inside. Even their tartar sauce was the great and came in a spicy flavor as well. We ordered the combo so it came with golden fries with a little skin for that earthy taste. Even though it’s a beachside restaurant the food was premium quality. The service was okay though. The girl behind the counter had no interest in greeting or smiling.

Great food, great service, the fries was delicious and crispy, the fish was nicely cooked, the best view to enjoy some food for sure. Will be a plus to have extra tables on the green area behind.

Great food and friendly staff. Poutine is large portions too so more worth it for the price, and gravy is vegetarian or vegan (sorry forgot which)

Tried it because I was craving fish and chips, been back many times. Fast friendly service and the fish and chips are top notch. Love the spicy tartar sauce and curry tartar was nice.

Eating fish and chips on the beach is my perfect kind of day, and this place really does not disappoint! I had the passion fruit lemonade with the curry sauce and it was the perfect pairing to my fish and chips. Hope this place sticks around!
